This was a surprise, as we are dealing with performance trainers here. Was it not for the running cause, I could easily imagine me using these comfortable shoes for everyday purposes. The Hypoknit upper wrapped my feet perfectly in thin floppy engineered mesh, and together with a top-notch heel cap this gave me a perfect-fit feeling. Here, NB really shows how to put a shoe together! Shoes on, my feet felt softly caressed - almost like wearing soft, smooth and comfortable socks.
However, appearances can be deceptive, and I will highlight interesting features later in this article. At a first glance, the compact-looking shoe does not seem to be of the fast kind due to its relatively large mid-sole. New Balance is one of the only running brands I so far had not yet tried, so I was of course looking forward to my first NB experience, testing the fast New Balance Fresh Foam Tempo model.įirst, the visual impression - it looks great! The styling and colourway gives the shoe a really sharp look.
